Pregnancy and Early Childhood Resource Center
Moms in Bloom's goal is to raise enough funds for us to open a Pregnancy and Early parenting Resource Center in Solano County. Our goal is to bring additional resources, education, and support to the pregnant women and new parents in our area. Some of the resources that we want to provide are:* Perinatal Education Classes (Childbirth Education, Bradley classes, Breastfeeding 101, Newborn Care, Sibling Preparation)
* Support Groups (La Leche League, New Moms Group, Mothers of Toddlers, ICAN)
* Informational Classes (Homeopathy for Infants and Children, Baby Massage, Infant CPR, Homebirth Information Night, Meet the Doula Night, Vaccination Info Night)
* Resource Library with books, videos, and other materials available for borrowing
* Space for local groups to meet - Moms Club Vallejo, Parents of Multiples, etc.
Since we don't have a permanent location to work out of, we have put our Resource Directory online so that all local parents have the resources readily available.
It is our hope that we will raise funds through our 2008 Growing Families Expo that will provide what we need to open the doors of our resource center.
